Monday
I had an issue with my bike’s crankset, so I didn’t do anything that I can remember.
Tuesday
I had an appointment at 3:00 PM at the workshop association in Dijon to fix my crankset. Since the bike was unusable, I washed up in the train station restrooms, which are very comfortable. I didn’t have enough time to walk all the way to the gym just to take a shower. I spent two hours at the workshop because we also changed the brake cables and housings, fixed the dynamo, and replaced a screw. In the end, it took me 7 hours because, with the broken bike, I had to walk to the station and then to the workshop, which is at least 12 km. Then there was the wait at the station and the 30-minute train ride.
Wednesday
was the first day of my period. Perhaps due to too much sugar throughout the previous cycle—since I replaced coffee with ice cream and sugar-free sodas at BK—my lower abdomen felt heavy and quite painful. I spent the afternoon meditating and learning the “ovarian breathing” technique taught by Kim Anami. It was extraordinary. For one thing, I didn’t feel the pain anymore; it was transformed into an intense sensation of being alive. I finally felt what I’ve heard Kim’s clients describe when they talk about establishing a dialogue with their organs. I visualized crystals of various artificial colors for each center.
Thursday
I practiced this ovarian breathing again, which took me an hour and a half, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. After that, I went grocery shopping for the week at the supermarket at 8:00 PM. I ate a snack on a hidden sidewalk across from some closed shops. Then I went to BK, and that’s when I realized I didn’t have my Acer laptop charger. Up until that point, I hadn’t worried.
Friday
I woke up around 9:38 AM. In the morning, I prepped my snacks for the week by wrapping individual dark chocolate squares in parchment paper, and then wrapping them again in aluminum foil. After that, I rested for two hours, scrolling through my phone since I had it with me. Next, I tried to find my Acer laptop charger, so I tidied up the entire tent, but I couldn’t find it. I then packed away all the groceries into the various lockable metal boxes. Still no sign of the charger, and I’m starting to think it might have been stolen if I left it in my bike pannier while I was grocery shopping. Later, I set out to change the inner tube of my front bike wheel, but then I realized the rim tape was broken. Gemini told me it was a serious issue. I hurried up so I could make it to Decathlon before they close at 7:00 PM.
Saturday
I woke up around 8:40 AM and discussed Ali Babal’s views with Gemini, particularly his refusal to consider Jewish people as a distinct nation. Since I felt way too lazy to go get food from my pantry outside the woods, I went back to sleep from 10:00 AM until almost noon. In total, I got 9 hours of sleep. I ate and then went to get the key to the snack box to grab a dessert.
At 1:00 PM, I crossed paths with a Parisian out for a run in the blazing heat. I kept chatting with Gemini for a few more hours, then left at the very last minute to go take a shower at the gym. Afterward, I bought some raspberries and a high-protein sports bread at Intermarché, which I ate in the parking lot after the supermarket closed, before heading to BK to charge my devices
Sunday
I got up around 9:30 AM, so I got 8 hours of sleep. Since I didn’t have my phone and entertainment sites were blocked on my computer, I got straight to work on improving my blog. I went to town around 5:00 PM to do some laundry and recharge my electronic devices; I had an ice cream at BK and got back around 9:00 PM
